Surerus Murphy is a strategic joint venture company set up between a well-known Canadian Pipeline business and a UK-based international infrastructure group. Headquartered in Calgary for the last 2 years, we have already been successful in securing several large diameter pipeline projects in Alberta. Currently, we have more than 1,000 employees and we expect that number to grow to 2,000 over the next 12 months.
Surerus Pipeline Inc. and Surerus Murphy Joint Venture (SMJV) is currently looking for an Aboriginal & Community Engagement Administrator, in this role you will be responsible for assisting the project team in various administrative tasks such as preparing reports, monitoring deadlines, preparing project specific information packages, and providing overall support to the Community, Land & Engagement team.
Provide administrative assistance to the project team, as required. Provide assistance with setup of new deliverables / projects. Prepare spreadsheets and maintain databases and logs, as required by the project. Maintain project files and internal and external reporting requirements. Manage staketracker administrative requirements Prepare project information packages and other communication / distribution activities
Assist with weekly reporting Maintain knowledge of the status of the project as well as specific schedule requirements.
Prepare, and handle all administrative tasks including; but not limited to, filing, photocopying, faxing, preparing expense statement and archiving of files.
Note: in addition to these duties personnel are required to carry out such other duties as may be reasonably required in order to support the objectives of the Company.
College degree or diploma in a related field is considered an asset. Combination of education and relevant experience. Minimum 2 years of experience in a project administrator role preferably on a project construction site.
Experience in Project Management is considered an asset. Understanding of the Oil and Gas pipeline construction industry preferred. Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures. Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). WORKING CONDITIONS
