Summer Student Innovations


Summer Student Innovations is an exciting opportunity for ideas to be put into action that will support students to build skills, enhance their work experience, introduce small business concepts or engage them in community based or innovative projects in the City of Prince George.

Each applicant can apply for up to $5,000 to support innovative summer student development.  The Urban Aboriginal Working Group is offering ten (10) of these experiences during the Summer of 2019.

Who can apply:  Summer students who declare Indigenous ancestry, non-profit organizations, industry, unions.

Participants:  The Innovation must support the development of First Nation students.  The students must have been enrolled in high school or post secondary education full time to May / June 2019, returning to school in the Fall of 2019.  Minimum age is 15.
